About Amy Technology

What does Amy Technology do?

We are a digital transformation firm that connects accounting, governance, risk, internal audit and daily operations on one ERPNext platform, and adds AI on top. We combine consulting expertise (accountants, auditors, risk specialists) with technical delivery (ERP engineers, developers, data and AI specialists).

Where are you located?

We have offices in Saudi Arabia and Egypt and serve clients across both countries and the wider region, on-site and remotely.

What makes you different from other ERP partners?

Most ERP partners focus on software configuration. We start from finance and control: our projects are co-led by finance or audit professionals, so your chart of accounts, approvals, segregation of duties and reports are designed the way a CFO and an audit committee need them.

Are you an official ERPNext partner?

Yes, we are an ERPNext implementation partner, and we also work with technology partners including Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Odoo, Avast and Kaspersky.

Are you ISO certified?

Yes. Our information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, which governs how we protect client data across implementation, hosting and support.

ERPNext & implementation

What is ERPNext?

ERPNext is a comprehensive, open-source ERP system covering accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, HR, payroll, CRM and more. It is used by thousands of organizations worldwide and supports Arabic and right-to-left interfaces.

Is ERPNext really free?

The software license is open source, so there are no per-user license fees. You invest in implementation, hosting, support and any custom development, which usually makes the total cost of ownership significantly lower than proprietary ERP systems.

How long does an ERP implementation take?

Typically 2–4 months for a single company and 4–9 months for multi-entity groups, manufacturing or projects with many integrations. We provide a detailed timeline after the discovery phase.

Can ERPNext handle our specific industry needs?

ERPNext covers most business processes out of the box. Where your industry needs something specific, we configure workflows and build custom apps on the Frappe framework while keeping the system upgradeable.

Can you migrate our data from our current system?

Yes. We migrate master data, opening balances and transaction history from Excel, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and local systems, with reconciliation reports signed by your finance team.

Can we access the system from mobile devices?

Yes. ERPNext is web-based and works on any modern browser, including phones and tablets, and there are mobile apps for common tasks.

Accounting, tax & e-invoicing

Does the system support IFRS?

Yes. We design the chart of accounts and reporting structure for IFRS, with dimensions for branches, cost centers and projects, and configure local statutory reports.

Are you compliant with ZATCA Phase 2 in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. We implement full integration with ZATCA’s FATOORA platform: device onboarding, cryptographic stamps, UBL XML, QR codes, clearance of standard invoices and reporting of simplified invoices.

Do you support Egyptian e-invoice and e-receipt (ETA)?

Yes. We integrate ERPNext with the Egyptian Tax Authority systems, including digital signatures, item coding (GS1/EGS) and status tracking.

Can the system handle VAT, withholding tax and Zakat?

Yes. Tax templates, withholding rules and Zakat calculations are configured according to Saudi and Egyptian requirements, with reports to support your returns.

Can we consolidate multiple companies?

Yes. ERPNext supports multiple companies and currencies, inter-company transactions and consolidated financial statements.

GRC, risk & internal audit

What does GRC mean in practice?

Governance, Risk and Compliance means managing policies, authorities, risks, controls and regulatory obligations in an integrated way. We digitize these so they are enforced in daily transactions rather than kept in documents.

Do we need separate GRC or audit software?

Usually not. We build GRC, risk and audit capabilities on the same platform as your finance and operations, so evidence comes directly from real transactions.

Which frameworks do you follow?

We align with COSO Internal Control and COSO ERM, ISO 31000 for risk management, IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, ISO 27001 for information security, and local regulations such as CMA corporate governance rules and data protection laws.

Can you provide internal auditors, not just software?

Yes. We offer co-sourced and fully outsourced internal audit services, delivered by our audit professionals using the same digital platform.

How does data analytics improve internal audit?

Instead of testing small samples, auditors can test 100% of transactions for exceptions such as duplicate payments, split purchases, unusual journal entries and segregation-of-duties conflicts.

AI & data security

What can AI actually do for our finance team?

Answer questions from live ERP data in Arabic or English, detect anomalies and potential fraud, read invoices and documents into draft entries, forecast cash flow and automate repetitive workflows.

Is our data shared with AI providers or used to train models?

We design every AI deployment around your data policy, including options where data stays in your environment and is never used to train external models.

Can AI post transactions on its own?

Only if you allow it. By default, anything that affects the ledger requires human review and approval, and every AI action is logged.

Where will our data be hosted?

On managed cloud infrastructure with in-region options, on your own servers, or a hybrid model, depending on your regulatory and business requirements.

Pricing, support & engagement

How much does an implementation cost?

Cost depends on the number of modules, users, entities, integrations and the level of customization. After a short discovery call, we provide a transparent fixed-scope proposal.

Do you offer support after go-live?

Yes. We offer SLA-based support plans with ticketing, defined response times, upgrades, health checks and continuous improvements.

Can you take over a system implemented by another company?

Yes. We audit the current system, fix critical issues, document the configuration and take over support.

Do you provide training?

Yes. Role-based training in Arabic and English is part of every implementation, plus refresher and onboarding sessions under support plans.

How do we get started?

Book a free demo or diagnostic session. We review your current processes, show the relevant solutions and propose a practical roadmap.
